Parents of 3-5 year olds have an opportunity now, right here in South Bend at ISM, to join a unique preschool environment that not only prepares your son or daughter for kindergarten but strengthens and enhances their Islamic identity. At ISM Noor Academy, an English medium preschool program, your exploring child will be able to embrace the stories of the prophets, the Qur’an and life in a joyful way. Songs, arts, gardening, math, motor skills, and literacy are all integral to the program we provide. This is more than a daycare, more than babysitting or Sunday School. This is foundational preschool, and we believe that our unique approach is exactly what your child needs in today’s world.
We started a pilot program called ISM Noor Academy in February of 2018, registered with the state of Indiana, with a few courageous families who enrolled their children. It is these trailblazers who trusted in Allah and took the step to join this new initiative. It is the noble teachers who left stable jobs because they believe that this is a mission worth working toward – improving our community one child at a time.
Our new schedule offers a preschool program from 9am-2pm, and parents can choose how many days a week their child will come. Before and after care is also available.
