The Islamic Society of Michiana (ISM) is a welcoming center for worship, spiritual growth, education, and community. Our mosque is open for the five daily prayers and provides a space for Muslims across the Michiana area to worship together.
Daily Prayers
The masjid is open for all five daily prayers, welcoming individuals and families from the community.
Jumu’ah (Friday Prayer)
Jumu’ah prayer is held every Friday and is generally led by our resident Imam. From time to time, visiting scholars, speakers, and community leaders are invited to deliver the khutbah (sermon).
Eid Prayers
ISM organizes two Eid prayer services for both Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha to accommodate the growing Muslim community in the Michiana area.
Taraweeh & Qiyam
During Ramadan, Taraweeh prayers are held at the masjid, including the recitation of the complete Qur’an (Khatm al-Qur’an). The prayers are led by the resident Imam and, when available, a guest Hafidh.
Special Qiyam al-Layl (night prayers) are also organized during the last ten nights of Ramadan.
Community Worship
Our masjid brings together worshippers throughout the week, with particularly strong attendance for Jumu’ah and the two Eid celebrations. ISM strives to provide a welcoming environment where individuals and families can worship, connect, and strengthen their relationship with Allah.
