A Space for Your Community Events
The Islamic Society of Michiana (ISM) offers rental of its Community Hall for non-sporting events such as family gatherings, community meetings and social events. Our facility provides a spacious and welcoming environment for hosting a variety of occasions.
Facility Overview
The ISM Community Hall is available for rental to community members and the general public. The hall is ideal for:

- Banquet-style setup options (available for an additional fee)

- Kitchen access for warming food and beverages (cooking is not allowed)

Banquet Setup Fee
$4.00 per person
An additional fee applies if banquet-style setup is required. This setup includes:
- Banquet chairs
- Table covers
- Dinner plates
- Silverware
- Glassware
Rental Duration
The standard rental duration is 6 hours. Additional hours will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
Cleaning Responsibility
If banquet setup is not selected, the renter is responsible for post-event clean-up. Failure to clean the facility may result in a $325 cleaning fee, deducted from the deposit.

All events held at ISM must comply with Islamic etiquette and guidelines. Please review the following policies before submitting your application.

Music may be allowed upon approval from the ISM Board. Renters are encouraged to respect the sanctity of the adjacent Masjid.

The facility is suitable for community members, people of other faiths and public officials, depending on the nature of the event.

Non-ISM-sponsored fundraising is not allowed.

How to Apply
To apply for the use of the ISM facility, please complete the Community Hall Reservation Application Form. The form will request details about your event, including:
- Purpose and nature of your event
- Expected number of attendees
- Preferred event date and duration
- Specific setup or equipment requirements
Once your application is submitted and reviewed, ISM staff will contact you to discuss the details and finalize the booking.

Please do not advertise or publicly announce your event until you have received approval from the ISM office.
